The Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary
The Solemnity of the Sacred Heart and the Solemnity of the Immaculate Heart are this weekend!
They are both movable feasts- The Sacred Heart of Jesus is celebrated on the Friday after the second Sunday after Pentecost, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary is celebrated the next day.
While always important, I think that these two celebrations are especially powerful during this Year of Mercy. If you are looking for a quick way to acknowledge the Solemnities, I have several printables to use with kiddos, or even to color and meditate over yourself. Is it possible to use your drawings for a parish craft?
ReplyDeleteOf course! As long as it is being used by a parish (or school or home) free of charge that is what it is intended for! When appropriate, I always appreciate the website address being included (like in the bulletin, on signage for the event, etc.) to help families find more resources!
