Obligatory Back to School Post- Peek Inside My Classroom
Here's my obligatory back-to-school post with pictures of my classroom. It doesn't look too different from last year or the year before, with the exception of the bright paint :) but it does look quite different from when I first moved in!

Where do you get your adorable letters? (The ones on your posters and bulletin boards.)
ReplyDeleteHi Glorea! My school has a die cut machine that I cut out the letters with- I think most of these pictured are the 3" letters, but we also have the 4" dies. I like to use cute cardstock or scrapbook paper, which stays brighter and doesn't fade like construction paper will. I think that we have an Ellison brand die cut machine- http://www.ellisoneducation.com/
DeleteThanks!!! Your stuff always looks amazing!
DeleteHow did you do the black posters with the corinthians message? I would love to do that in my classroom!
ReplyDeleteJulia, they are just normal chalk on black bulletin board paper, and then I ran them through the school laminator. Easy and essentially free for you do make! The possibilities are endless!
DeleteI love your saints door poster. Do you mind if I borrow it?
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Beti
Please do! I'd love to see a picture of how it turns out
DeleteCan you share specifics on how you created your Servant's Heart wall with the pockets?
ReplyDeleteThe pockets were cut out of jeans (old pairs, a few from a rummage sale) and then I stapled them on the bulletin board by putting the stapler into the pocket, if that makes sense. That allowed them to be attached, but I could still place things in the pockets, like our classroom jobs.
