Pop Up Lapbook Marian Shrine
Back here I posted about how to include a pop up Marian shrine as a notebooking activity. That is great if you already have a notebook or journal started, but here is a way to adapt that activity for a stand alone lesson/project.
Starting with a sturdy file folder (I chose a blue one for obvious reasons) you can easily create a Marian Shrine that kids could fold up and take with them.
I used the printables from the Marian Notebook Shrine and also the Mini Mary Fact Flipbooks and assembled them following the directions in those posts, except that I just scattered the flipbooks around the pages.
This lapbook could be taken into adoration or a prayer time and held on the kids' laps, or it could be set up on a shelf, table, or dresser in their room to create a space of prayer.
I also included the Lovely Lady Dressed in Blue poem on the cover.
Lots of different things could be added or changed. I think that this would be a great inside project to create this summer! ;)
